WANTED
I went and saw at the movies a couple of days back the new Angelina Jolie movie “wanted”. Now this wasn’t a highly advertised film but those who are fans of the fat lips would have known all about it. Now “wanted” was a movie designed purely for entertainment it had start of the art special effects and a very shallow plot line. It was in pure nature just an action flick designed for some light hearted entertainment on a Thursday night.
Now this movie kind of lost me a bit when they added little connotative terms to certain actions. For example “Bruce” some minor character gets flogged over the head with a key board and the letter keys that flew though the air spelt “FUCK YOU” with ‘U’ being one of his teeth. There was also another case when a bullet was fired the bullet was called “Goodbye”, these little things i thought were not needed and stupid. They reduced the significance of the plot and the over all seriousness of the film. Plus things were done that can’t physically happen and the twist in the plot was predictable and not surprising.
Now don’t let my negativity influence your decision to watch it. As i said before its a great film if you are bored or want to get away from your parents with your girlfriend/boyfriend or whatever.
