Waltz with Bashir
Yesterday i went for a little outting to my first indie movie ‘walts with bashir’. An isreali animation film that was kind of cross mocumentry /documentry. It was a film about a soldier that served in the lebonese palistinian war and he was starting to remeber the past. to tell you the truth i didn’t quiet get the jist of the film because to be honest i didn’t even now there was such a war 20 years ago.
It was interestng though to look at how the isreali film industry told the story of many people through animation. Though the animation was not real flash it had that arty feel that was kinda sick. Admitedly i was completely captured by the film just because it was so different and the fact that it had sub titles so i kind of had to watch the film.
i recomend if anyone likes to watch world films that are kind of different that you watch Waltz with Bashir it was interesting in it own way.
